Lessons for kids

High Five Tennis (HFT) focuses on individualized lessons in red ball and orange ball starting with private lessons for kids 2 years and up. We are about fun and creating a love for the art of tennis. Make no mistake, we are also very focused on helping your child learn textbook strokes, multiple spins, exceptional footwork, and the ability to rally for 30-40 strokes consistently. We achieve these goals with very young children. On our hard or clay courts, you will see kids who are five years old who have developed all of these skills and others who are striving to get there. Regardless of your child’s pace, we are patient and work to make every session productive and, most importantly, fun. Our private lesson model allows HFT to design every session to work with your child’s specific needs. Sessions are tailored to your whole child and the struggles they experience physically and emotionally on the court. SPRING 2025 LESSONS- GENERAL INFO:

Spring lessons are booked in time slots hourly or by the half hour for kids participating in private or semi-private sessions. Pricing below based on the ball your child is playing (red, orange, green, or yellow). We typically start children under 8 with 1/1, 30 minute lessons and then progress them to add a second day weekly of partnered, 2/1 lesson for an hour. This often happens quickly as kids learn rapidly using our methodology and format. If you have a child who has played elsewhere or if this format does not work for you please be in touch so we can discuss their experience and how we can help them maximize fun and develop their skills.
